DEBUT STUDIO ALBUM FROM LONG BEACH'S SUBLIME. 40oz. To Freedom was originally recorded in between 1991 and 1992 in secrecy at the studios in CSUDH. They would record at night when no one was supposed to be there. The band drew inspiration from reggae and hip hop, as well as their punk rock roots. Although the album did not find immediate commercial success, it would go on to become one of the highest selling independently released albums of all time. Includes the songs: "Smoke Two Joints," "Badfish," "Date Rape," and "Rivers of Babylon." Twenty-one tracks in all. black double vinyl pressing
